Wireless Engineer

Job Description:

Knowledge in existing wireless communication protocols: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, 802.11ad.

Knowledge in Networking, Modem & WiFi router configuration.

Strong understanding of Wireless LAN Security, PPPoE, MIMO, QOS Prioritization, and Wireless/Wired Network troubleshooting.

Good knowledge and experience with: TCP/IP, Cisco IOS, LAN/WAN/WLAN, Ethernet switching, and routing protocols.

Knowledge in Internet of Things (IoT) architecture and common IoT technologies.

Knowledge in IP Addressing, Subnetting, VLSM, DNS, DHCP, ARP, reverse & proxy ARP, and Ping Concepts.

Knowledge/understanding of voice, data, and video technologies.

Understanding of 3GPP systems: Core and RAN networks.

(Optional) Understanding of Network Virtualization and Cloud Technologies like AWS, Azure, etc.

Experience with HW as well as SW architecture.

Good understanding of the software development life cycle and various processes.

Basic Networking and IEEE 802.11 Wifi standards

Basic Linux and Unix Debugging skills
